Her husband, also a doctor, has a thriving practice in Pencaster and her daughter, Sarah, goes to the village school in Garner bridge. She also has a good singing voice and is an important member of the Pencaster Amateur Operatic Society. She is capable and efficient with a reassuringly competent “no nonsense” manner. She also does some work in the small hospital and maternity unit in Pencaster and delivers many of the Greendale babies.
